Spolupráce v oblasti identifikace padělaných cestovních dokumentů

Jde o mnohostranný projekt, na němž se významnou měrou podílí Odbor azylové a migrační politiky Ministerstva vnitra ČR.

PROJECT INFORMATION NOTE
Strengthening Capacities and Cooperation in the Identification of Forged and Falsified Travel Documents at the Moldova-Romania Border
Objectives
The overall objective of the action is to contribute to an increased effectiveness of the fight against illegal migration by the Moldovan authorities. The project seeks to enhance the capacities of border, consular and migration authorities to detect forged and falsified travel documents through two specific objectives: Strengthened capacity to detect forged and falsified travel documents of staff of the agencies involved in the fight against illegal migration. Improved cooperation and information exchange between the agencies involved in the fight against illegal migration shall contribute to a more efficient and effective identification of forged and falsified travel documents, as well as the sharing of knowledge on new types of forgeries.
Partners
The project is financed by the European Commission in the framework of the Thematic Call programme, and implemented by the International Centre for Migration Policy Development (ICMPD), in partnership by the Bulgarian Ministry of Interior, the Czech Ministry of the Interior, Department for Asylum and Migration Policy, the French Ministry of Interior, Service de Cooperation Technique Internationale de Police (SCTIP), the Hungarian National Police, the Dutch Royal Marechaussee, the Polish Border Guard, the Romanian General Inspectorate of the Border Police, the Slovak Ministry of Interior, Bureau of Border and Alien Police, and, as associate partner, the Geneva Centre for the Democratic Control of Armed Forces (DCAF).
The main beneficiaries of the project are the Border Guard Service (Document Examination Service, Department for Continuous Training), the Ministry of the Interior (Bureau of Migration and asylum, Technical and Criminalistics Department, Migration Office- international airport Chisinau), the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and European Integration (General Consular Department) and Ministry of Information Technologies and Communication of Moldova; Ministry of Justice, other relevant actors will be associated upon need.
Project Implementation
The project duration is 24 months: April 2009 -March 2011.


The activities in the implementation are divided into two modules which are implemented in parallel, each focusing on one of the specific objectives of action. The Module on Training will focus on the development of a comprehensive training concept in the field of document security, including curriculum, training manuals, training of trainers and supported national pilot trainings. The Module on Information Exchange will contribute to an increased quality and quantity of information exchange in the field of identification of forged/falsified travel documents as well as on methods of falsification between relevant authorities.
