“Citizen Havel” movie screening

Embassy of the Czech Republic in Cairo invites you cordially to the Citizen Havel movie screening. It is co-organised with the Political Science Students' Association at the AUC and the Czech centres network.
The documentary follows the life of Václav Havel, his colleagues, closest friends and acquaintances for more than thirteen years. It provides a behind-the-scenes look at the everyday situations of the first President of the Czech Republic. The screening will be followed by a discussion of the legacy of Václav Havel and will serve as a build-up for the upcoming international conference VÁCLAV HAVEL EUROPEAN DIALOGUES 2022: THE POWER OF DIALOGUE where broader questions about civic engagement will be brought up.
