The Czech language courses at various levels are primarily intended for students, experts and academic staff in the field of Czech language and Slavonic studies who are over 18 years old.

The scholarship covers following expenses:
- accommodation and board
- registration fee and course
- trips and excursions

The scholarship does not cover:
- expanses on international transport
- travel and health care insurance
- visa fees

The applicants must send their application form and CV (in Czech or English) to Cairo.Info@mzv.gov.cz till 5 March 2025. The application form can be downloaded here. Successful nominees will be invited to apply for a scholarship electronically via the portal of the Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports between 15 and 31 March 2025.

The applicants from Egypt can apply for summer schools at Masaryk University in Brno (26. 7. – 23. 8. 2025) or Palacký University in Olomouc (12. 7. – 10. 8. 2025).
