In his opening word, Dr. Mohamed Marzouk, the General Secretary of the Association, welcomed Ambassador Kuchynova Smigolova reminding the present guests of the unique and problem-free history of mutual relations between Egypt and the Czech Republic that was reaffirmed during the recent visit of the Egyptian foreign minister Sameh Shoukry in Prague. Concluding his speech, Dr. Mohamed Marzouk wished Ambassador Kuchynova Smigolova all the success during her tenure as the Czech Ambassador to Egypt.

Ambassador Kuchynova Smigolova thanked Dr. Marzouk for his kind words and thanked the Association for organizing this very pleasant occasion. Ambassador Kuchynova Smigolova expressed her hope that the mutual outstanding relations between the two countries will record further development during her posting in Egypt. Her Excellency also offered the Association members to approach the Embassy without any hesitation in case they feel a need to do so.

Concluding the first part of the evening, Dr. Hallouda, the Assosiation Chairman, delivered a brief speech assessing the mutual historical relations between the two countries and wished Ambassador all the success during her tenure in Egypt.
