The delegation held meetings with the Committee on Foreign, Arab and African Affairs and the Committee on Defence and National Security of the Egyptian Senate. A meeting was held with the Foreign Affairs Committee of the House of Representatives. Both visits were very fruitful: the current state of relations is very good and the opportunities for their growth are high (e.g. Czech investment in Egypt). Both sides exchanged views on the current world situation (e.g. migration problems, the Sudan crisis and its impact on Egypt, Russian aggression in Ukraine and the state of the international economy).
