On Monday, 8th September, the Prague House hosted the Czech-Belgian Space Industry Day, supported by the Prague Delegation to the EU, which focused on mutual presentation of the Czech and Belgian space sectors and establishing contacts between Czech and Belgian companies. Representatives of Czech companies were able to further develop the contacts made at this business forum over the following two days, when they visited several Belgian space companies and familiarized themselves with their production and development activities.

On the second day of the mission, Czech entrepreneurs visited SABCA, a major Brussels-based manufacturer for the aerospace sector, followed by Redwire and Antwerp Space in Antwerp. On the last day, they visited Space Application Services in Brussels and concluded their trip with a visit to Belgium's largest space company, Thales Alenia Space Belgium. During these meetings, the mission participants had the opportunity to present their innovative technologies to their Belgian partners and arrange follow-up meetings. 

The business mission of Czech space companies has helped to showcase unique products from Czech companies, which is expected to have not only positive economic impact but also strengthen Czechia's prestige in the field of innovative technological solutions.

On the sidelines of the mission, Václav Kobera, Director of the Department of Space Activities and New Technologies at the Ministry of Transport, held talks with partners at the headquarters of the Belgian Science Policy Office (BELSPO).

The business mission to Belgium was organized by the Czech Ministry of Transport in cooperation with the Czech Ministry of Defence, the Czech Embassy in Brussels, and BELSPO. The visit to Belgium was followed by a mission to the Netherlands.
