The Lady Ambassadors met with Mrs. Samar Malek, acting head of Service of Environment Technology and United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change focal point for Lebanon. Mrs. Malek gave a briefing on Lebanon's challenges and latest achievements in dealing with issues on climate change, air quality, waste management and environment protection. The briefing was followed by a discussion over Filipino lunch hosted by Philippine Ambassador Bernardita L. Catalla at the Philippine Embassy Chancery.
