Thanks to Czechia for its humanitarian activities

On August 3, 2016 a ceremony organized by Forum Economic Solidarity, Ministry of Education and Municipality of Tripoli was held in the Municipality Theater in Tripoli. The aim of the event was to thank to the Czech Republic for the humanitarian assistance provided in last 3 years in Tripoli, especially to Lebanese public schools educating also children of the Syrian refugies .
About 300 attendants took part in the event, including governor of Tripoli and North Lebanon, mufti for North Lebanon, representatives of the Ministry of Education for North Lebanon, army, police, all parliamentary parties, Chamber of Commerce in Tripoli, president of the Forum Economic Solidarity, directors and teachers of schools, where the Czech assistance has been provided.
The event was also meant as a farewell and goodbye for the Ambassador and other officials of the Embassy who participated in the humanitarian projects and finish their stay in Lebanon.
Ambassador Čumba, president of FES Mr. Amer Arslan and the representative of the Ministry of Education Mrs. Nahla had their speeches.
