Exhibitions and presentation of the Czech Republic in Tyre

On April 15, 2016 the Czech Embassy presented in Tyre exhibition of photographs „Czech Republic: 25 years later...“, exhibition „120 years of the automotive industry in the Czech lands and a seminar on possibilities of touristic, study and business cooperation between Lebanon and the Czech Republic.
With the collaboration of Czech & Slovak Graduates Association in Lebanon and the Municipality of Tyre, the Czech Embassy organized on Islamic University of Tyre an exhibition of more than 60 photographs by Prof. Bassam Lahoud (DOC, 2 MB). Through these pictures the Lebanese artist shared his perceptions from his visits in the Czech Republic between the years 1989 and 2014.
Simultaneously, the Embassy presented an exhibition documenting history of car and motorcycle production the in Czech lands.
During the event, the Czech Republic was presented as an interesting touristic destination.
Materials informing about possibilities to study in international programs of the Czech universities were displayed.
Perspective spheres for extended cooperation between Czech and Lebanese companies and business communities were also presented in Tyre.
