At the beginning of the event, Ambassador of Finland to China His Excellency Minka, Czech Diplomatic Representative to China Ms. Komisa, and Charge d'Affaires of Ukraine Zhanna Leshchynska delivered speeches. They recalled that Ukraine has been facing a full-scale invasion by Russia for three years, and the war in the eastern part of the country has lasted for more than ten years, and they expressed their support for Ukraine.

The film was shot by Yevhen Titarenko, a member of the Volunteer Medical Battalion, and includes footage he shot directly on the front line, as well as footage of him talking to friends and family in other parts of Ukraine. Through these footage, the audience can see the life-and-death struggle on the front line, as well as Ukrainians' reflections on the war.

After the screening, producers Yevhen Titarenko and Natalia Khazan communicated with the audience via video link. The film sparked a lively discussion, and the two producers answered many questions raised by the audience.

The screening event was part of the "Peace, Security, and Future" Film Festival. The film festival was held in cooperation with the Embassy of Ukraine in China and other European embassies in China to screen films about the Russian invasion of Ukraine.
