EU Ambassadors met Mayor of Istanbul

The Head of the EU Delegation to Turkey Ambassador Christian Berger and the Ambassadors of the EU Member States received Metropolitan Mayor of Istanbul Ekrem İmamoğlu as a guest speaker at a working lunch.
They discussed EU-Turkey relations also at a municipal level, local democracy, climate change and smart cities policies including disaster preparedness. The meeting was part of regular Ambassadors’ exchanges with prominent Turkish personalities.
