State Secretary Radek Rubeš Meets State Minister Berhanu Tsegaye: Focus on Trade, Investment and Broader Cooperation

State Secretary of the Czech Ministry of Foreign Affairs H.E. Radek Rubeš met with State Minister Berhanu Tsegaye to discuss ways to further deepen cooperation between Ethiopia and the Czech Republic, both bilaterally and in multilateral fora.
In the meeting, State Minister Berhanu Tsegaye highlighted that Ethiopia and the Czech Republic share a partnership spanning more than seven decades, strengthened by continued exchanges and high‑level engagements. He underlined the importance of expanding trade and investment links and encouraged greater Czech engagement in Ethiopia’s priority sectors, reaffirming the Government of Ethiopia’s commitment to providing a supportive and enabling environment for investors.

The Embassy of the Czech Republic will continue to support the practical follow‑up to this dialogue by facilitating institutional contacts and helping connect Czech and Ethiopian partners, building on the momentum of recent Czech–Ethiopian economic engagements in Addis Ababa.
