1st vicepremier and minister for interior in Ghana

From 30 April to 2 May 2023, the 1st Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of the Interior, Mr Vít Rakušan, accompanied by MPs/members of the Czech-Ghana Inter-Parliamentary Friendship Group, businessmen from the health and security sector and representatives of other ministries, visited Ghana. He held talks with Ghana's Vice President Hon. Mahumudu Bawumia, Minister of Interior Hon. Ambrose Dery, Minister of National Security Hon. Albert Kan - Dapaah and Minister of Health Hon. Kwaku Agyeman Manu. He launched the Czech-Ghana Business Seminar on Health and inspected the MEDEVAC, a Czech annual medical humanitarian project at the Cape Coast Teaching Hospital. The visit of the 1st Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior of the Czech Republic to Ghana marks an other new impetus for the development of bilateral relations and is a confirmation of the growing interest of the Czech Republic in cooperation with partners in Africa.
