Czech gynaecologists at Tamale Teaching Hospital

Last week, a team of Czech gynecologists completed another week-long mission at the Tamale University Hospital. The team, led by doc. MUDr. Vít Weinberger, PhD, senior resident of the FN Brno gynaecological-obstetric clinic, composed of 4 surgeons, 1 anesthesiologist and 1 surgical nurse, examined 100 patients and performed a total of 42 operations on women with complicated diagnoses who would not otherwise receive adequate health care.
