Each year, scholarships for students from developing countries are provided by the Government of the Czech Republic. For the academic year 2018/2019, the Czech Republic offers four scholarships to students from Ghana and two from Burkina Faso. The scholarships are provided for the following study programmes:

 Pursued in the English language:

• Selected follow-up Master’s study programmes (one- to three-year-long);
• Selected Doctoral study programmes (three- to four-year-long).

Fields of study for Ghanaian students: economics, agriculture, information technology, ecology, power engineering

Fields of study for Burkina Faso students:  agriculture, medicine
