Czech Doctors Help in Africa

In September 2016, group of ten Czech doctors, medical students and workers with children participated for the third time in the project with working title Medical Outreach. It is one of activities of a Ghanaian branch of the missionary organization OM International. The practical medical assistance to people who live in very limited conditions in the northern part of country is the project goal.
Team of Czech and Ghanaian medics with workers with children visited five communities in Yagaba area. They provided consultation with subsequent medical treatment to more than two thousand people in improvised clinics, mostly under the open sky. They helped many patients in serious condition by the transport to the nearest hospital or by providing means to achieve a medical procedure in one of hospitals in region.
