Ambassador Bílek handed over equipment for detecting false documents in Ivory Coast

Ambassador Pavel Bílek handed over equipment for detecting false documents and other accessories worth €66,000 to the Minister of the Interior and Security, General Vagondo Diomandé.
The aid is part of the project "Strengthening Border Protection Capacities and Combating Human Trafficking." This 18-month project is financed by the Czech Ministry of the Interior with CZK 25 million and implemented by the International Centre for Migration Policy Development (ICMPD). At the handover ceremony, the ambassador emphasized that the donated equipment is intended to strengthen the capacity of the Ivorian border authorities and help in the fight against illegal migration and human trafficking.
During his visit to Abidjan, the ambassador also met with other representatives of Ivorian institutions participating in the project, including Minister of Solidarity and Poverty Reduction Myss Belmonde Dogo and Executive Secretary of the National Border Commission D. Konaté.
