Meeting former Ghanaian graduates in the CZ

On July 29,  the Embassy  has organized an annual meeting with Ghanaian graduates of Czech universities at the Ambassador´s residence. This year's  meeting was particularly significant due to the participation of representatives of Charles University in Prague. The research team led by Vice Dean PhDr. Jan Kouby, Ph.D. aims to document and analyze the Czechoslovak policy of accepting foreign students and the subsequent use of their networks as a foreign policy tool. The project includes several  African countries incl.  Ghana. During the meeting, the researchers established key contacts for their further  field research. A number of event participants became their subsequent respondents. The event thus contributed to the further strengthening of contacts with the Ghanaian  graduates of Czech universities. The event also commemorated the launch of Czech Presidency to the Council of the EU.
