On 18 June 2024, Ambassador to Ghana Pavel Bílek discussed the status of bilateral relations with the Vice President of Ghana and the ruling party's candidate for the next President, Mr Mahamudu Bawumia. 

The meeting was evidence of a very strong mutual relationship, as witnessed by numerous visits at the highest level in recent times.

Topics discussed included Czech-Ghanaian cooperation in infrastructure, health, security, water treatment and agriculture.
