A team of gynaecologists, led by Dr. Vít Weinberger, the Head of the Gynaecology and Obstetrics Clinic of the Brno University Hospital, worked at the Teaching Hospital in Tamale as part of this program. The medical team successfully operated on dozens of Ghanaian patients during their stay in Tamale. Their stay was also an opportunity for Ghanaian doctors to gain professional experience from top Czech specialists. Ghanaian doctors recently completed a short study stay at the University Hospital in Brno.
