Registration for submission of short-term Schengen visa applications

Registration for applicants wishing to schedule an appointment to submit a Schengen visa application is open on the 15th and 30th day of each month, from 8:00 p.m. to 2:00 a.m. the following day (local time), under the conditions specified below.

1. Send your request for an appointment to submit your application on the above-mentioned date and time to one of the email addresses* corresponding to the purpose of your stay.

yerevan.schengen@mzv.gov.cz – tourism, personal visit, other

yerevan.invitation@mzv.gov.cz – invitation ((it means only an invitation verified by the Foreign Police of the Czech Republic) )

yerevan.business@mzv.gov.cz – business, official, employment, medical

yerevan.academy@mzv.gov.cz – study, research (+ participation in educational projects), sport, culture

yerevan.group@mzv.gov.cz – for non-tourists groups only (sport teams, delegations, artist ensembles, etc.)

2. Indicate your passport number in the email subject line (without spaces).

3. In the body of the email, include the following information in following order: full name (as it appears on your travel document), type of visa and purpose of stay.

full name (as it appears on your travel document)

date of birth (DD.MM.YYYY)

purpose of travel (one main purpose only)

contact phone number

4. Attach the following documents to the e-mail (in .pdf format): a scan of the passport data page, a scan of the proof of purpose of travel (this is not required in the case of travel for tourism purposes), and a scan of the valid residence permit (in the case of third-country nationals). In case of non-touristic groups, send a scan of group invitation.

5. Applicants who are not citizens of the countries belonging to the territorial jurisdiction of the Embassy of the Czech Republic in Yerevan must also attach proof that they have legal residence status in Armenia. If residence cannot be proven, the applicant must submit the application in their home country.

6. 1 applicant = 1 e-mail. Submit only one email per applicant. Only one applicant can be submitted in each email. In the case of travel for the purpose of tourism or visiting relatives and friends, spouses and their minor children may be registered together.

7. Your e-mail will be processed electronically by a system based on a randomized element.

8. The following emails will be disqualified from the registration process:

(i) emails that are not sent in the format specified in point 2 and 3

(ii) emails that do not include the attachments referred to in point 4,

iii) emails in which the applicant attempts to register multiple applicants in one submission** - except for emails from family or parents registering their minor children (for purpose of tourism or visiting family or friends) and registrations via yerevan.group@mzv.gov.cz mailbox,

(iv) emails that are sent multiple times by one applicant,

v) emails sent outside the specified registration period,

vi) emails with attachments larger than 10 MB.

9. Wait for the confirmation. The Embassy will inform you within 7 days whether or not a submission date has been assigned.

10. If you do not receive confirmation of an assigned appointment within 7 days, it implies that your registration for an appointment was either unsuccessful or was not sent in accordance with the terms and conditions of the registration process.

11. The assigned date cannot be changed. If you fail to show up for your appointment, the assigned date becomes invalid. If you arrive late without prior apology, your appointment will also be cancelled - in such a case, the Embassy will proceed with other applicants who arrived on time.

Number of applications accepted for a given period: 240

*The email addresses provided are for visa/residency application appointments only. They are not intended for general communication or answering inquiries.

**In order to ensure the functionality of the system, the mzv.cz domain antispam may identify attempts to send bulk registrations via software tools as spam. As a result, such registrations will not be processed.

PLEASE NOTE, THAT THE EMBASSY OF THE CZECH REPUBLIC IN YEREVAN DOES NOT COOPERATE WITH ANY TRAVEL AGENCIES, COMPANIES OR INTERMEDIARIES IN ACCEPTING OR PROCESSING OF THE VISA APPLICATIONS

 

 

FAQ:

  1. Include only your passport number in the subject line. No other characters are permitted (e.g., Re.:, Fwd:, etc.)

  2. Email registration will take place on the above-mentioned date. Emails received before or after the designated registration period will be disregarded and excluded from the registration process. The time of delivery of the email to the mailbox is determining.

  3. Due to the cybersecurity measures of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Czech Republic, we recommend sending your email during the first hours of the registration period, rather than at the end.

  4. Each applicant may send only one email. If multiple emails are sent on behalf of the same applicant within the given deadline, the applicant will be automatically excluded from the registration, even if the emails are sent from different email addresses.

  5. Email applications must include copies of the following documents in PDF format only: a scanned copy of the data page of the applicant’s travel document and a scan of the proof of purpose of travel

  6. Citizens of countries other than Republic of Armenia may only participate in the registration if they have been residing in Republic of Armenia on the basis of a long-term residence permit. A scan of this residence permit must be included in PDF format in the registration email together with the other required attachments.

  7. Registration emails where the sender has activated a restriction preventing replies (such as disabling receipt of confirmation replies) will be excluded from the registration process.
