Presentation of the project Zikmund 100 - in the footsteps of Zikmund and Hanzelka

On November 22, 2018, the Embassy of the Czech Republic in Israel organized a presentation of the Zikmund 100 project, mapping the way around the world of the famous travelers Zikmund and Hanzelka. In the footsteps of these travelers, Lukáš Socha and Tomáš Vaňourek took us almost 60 years back to the places that these legendary travelers visited during the years 1959-1964. The young traveller Lukáš Socha was welcomed by H.E. Ambassador Martin Stropnický and presented his travel experiences to him and to the Czech compatriot community and Embassy staff. The results of the project will be presented to Mr. Zikmund for his 100th birthday in February 2019. The Embassy of the Czech Republic in Israel wishes both young traveler sa successful end of the journey and the project and to Mr. Zikmund all the best and the strongest health for the next years to come!
