The Czech business delegation accompanying the President of the Czech Republic, H. E. Petr Pavel, during his visit to the State of Israel, visited important innovation hubs in Beer Sheva and Tel Aviv.
The Czech business delegation, headed by Mr. Radek Špicar, VP of the Confederation of Industry of the Czech Republic, did not miss an opportunity to get acquainted with two innovation centers representing Israel as the proverbial start-up nation in hi-tech industry.
Beer Sheva is quickly becoming one of the key centers of Israel’s hi-tech research, development and innovation. The delegation met Mr. Daniel Martin of Cyber7, Israel’s Cyber Innovation Community, initiated jointly by Israel National Cyber Directorate, Ministry of Economy and Israel Innovation Authority, and professor Yuval Elovici of Cyber@Ben Gurion University, both outstanding examples of Israel’s inventive policy and extraordinary prowess in cyber oriented disciplines. The delegation also met managers of the IONSec cyber security company in Beer Sheva and visited Tel Aviv’s City Zone, a living lab for advanced solutions addressing urban challenges.
