The mission was jointly organized by the Confederation of Industry of the Czech Republic (SP ČR), the Czech-Israeli Joint Chamber of Commerce (ČISOK) and the Embassy of the Czech Republic in Tel Aviv. On the Israeli side, the forum was organized in cooperation with the Economic Division of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Israel, the Manufacturers’ Association of Israel, the Israel Export Institute, and the Israel-Czech Chamber of Commerce and Industry (ICCCI).

The forum followed the successful visit of Israeli Foreign Minister Gideon Sa’ar to Prague in May 2026, when the largest Czech-Israeli business forum ever held in the Czech Republic brought together more than fifty Israeli companies and around 150 Czech business representatives. The strong participation in both countries demonstrates the growing momentum of Czech-Israeli economic cooperation and the shared determination to transform excellent political relations into concrete business opportunities.

Opening the forum alongside Foreign Minister Sa’ar, Minister Macinka emphasized that the relationship between the Czech Republic and Israel is built on shared values, trust and a longstanding friendship. He highlighted the complementary strengths of the two economies: Israel’s globally recognized leadership in innovation, advanced technologies and entrepreneurship, and the Czech Republic’s strong industrial base, engineering excellence, highly skilled workforce and access to the European Single Market.

The Business Forum was designed not only as a networking platform but as a catalyst for tangible cooperation. Participants engaged in intensive B2B meetings, sector-focused discussions and presentations covering investment opportunities, innovation ecosystems and future cooperation projects. Special attention was given to sectors with the greatest potential for bilateral growth, including cybersecurity and digital technologies, healthcare and biotechnology, defence and security, and public transport and logistics.

Alongside the general business programme, specialized sessions were organized for defence industry representatives, healthcare stakeholders and companies interested in Israel’s major upcoming public transportation and infrastructure projects. The agenda also included meetings between Czech and Israeli public-sector representatives, creating opportunities to strengthen cooperation at both governmental and business levels.

A key message repeatedly emphasized throughout the forum was that Czech companies are not only suppliers of products and services, but also investors, innovators and long-term strategic partners. Both sides expressed a strong interest in developing joint projects, expanding investment flows, fostering technological cooperation and promoting research partnerships that can create lasting value for both economies.

The visit also resulted in the signing of a Joint Declaration by the foreign ministers of the Czech Republic and Israel and reaffirmed both countries’ commitment to strengthening economic cooperation. During the discussions, the two ministers stressed the importance of making the Czech-Israeli business forum a regular platform for dialogue and partnership development.

The excellent turnout of approximately 200 participating companies and business leaders, together with more than one hundred B2B meetings held throughout the day, confirmed the strong interest of both Czech and Israeli businesses in expanding cooperation and exploring new market opportunities.

The Embassy of the Czech Republic in Tel Aviv welcomes the highly positive outcomes of the mission and looks forward to supporting the partnerships and projects initiated during the forum. The event once again demonstrated that the Czech Republic and Israel are not only close political allies, but also natural economic partners with enormous potential for further growth, innovation and mutually beneficial cooperation.
