Founded in 1953, Israel Aerospace Industries is a government-owned company and the largest aerospace and defense enterprise in Israel. With more than 15,000 employees and annual revenues exceeding USD 6 billion, IAI is a major player in both the military and civilian sectors. The company is Israel’s second-largest exporter, with approximately 70% of its production destined for international markets.

IAI has a strong legacy of innovation, developing technologies across all domains — air, sea, land, and space. It is one of only ten companies worldwide capable of designing and manufacturing aircraft and one of eleven with full satellite development capabilities. Its operations are supported by a workforce heavily composed of engineers, consistently ranked among Israel’s top employers.

The visit began with presentations from both sides, followed by a tour of IAI’s key manufacturing and assembly areas. Delegates observed operations across several divisions, including aircraft manufacturing and unmanned aerial systems, gaining firsthand insight into the company’s technological capabilities and production expertise.

This meeting highlighted significant opportunities for collaboration, showcasing how Czech manufacturing expertise can complement IAI’s advanced technologies. It opened the door to stronger cooperation and shared innovation between the two countries.
