IMTM 2025 "Insights and Opportunities" Event

IMTM is Israel’s largest and most influential tourism exhibition, renowned for its ability to bring together global destinations, local industry leaders, and enthusiastic travelers. As Israel’s only professional tourism exhibition, IMTM has been a cornerstone for innovation and collaboration in the tourism sector for over 30 years. With over 9,000 sqm of exhibition space, the event attracts more than 2,200 exhibitors and 30,000 visitors, including 6,500 tourism professionals from around the globe.

The IMTM exhibition is a vital platform for showcasing new travel trends, fostering international partnerships, and expanding business connections. Israelis are some of the most avid travelers globally, with over 9 million outbound trips annually. With a keen interest in exploring new destinations, Israeli travelers spend significantly on their trips, making them a high-value market for tourism professionals. In fact, in 2023, Israeli travelers spent over $8.5 billion USD abroad, and this spending is set to increase in 2025, making it a key market for global tourism brands.

Israeli tourists are recognized for their frequent travel habits, with many embarking on multiple trips each year. On average, they spend $2,800 on long-haul vacations, and despite recent travel disruptions, international travel demand is recovering rapidly. With expectations for a record-breaking year in 2025, the Israeli tourism market is an ideal target for countries such as the Czech Republic to increase visibility and attract visitors seeking unique and enriching travel experiences. Czechia is one of Israel’s closest friends and has become one of the ten most popular destinations for Israeli tourists, not only due to its historic monuments, rich Jewish heritage, and stunning natural beauty but also because it is a country where Israeli visitors are always sincerely welcomed and can feel safe.

Building on the success of the Czech Republic booth at IMTM 2024, organized by the Embassy in partnership with the ICCCI, we are excited to continue our efforts in promoting Czech destinations and tourism services to Israeli travelers. The Embassy remains committed to supporting tourism and fostering stronger connections between the Czech Republic and Israel. We look forward to seeing you at IMTM 2025!
