Last week, a distinguished Czech cyber delegation visited Israel, engaging in high-level discussions, company visits, and the globally renowned Cybertech Global Tel Aviv 2025 conference. The delegation was organized by the Czech-Israeli Chamber of Commerce with support from CzechTrade and the Embassy of the Czech Republic in Tel Aviv. This initiative brought together industry leaders and cybersecurity experts to explore cutting-edge innovations and foster new partnerships to strengthen Czech-Israeli cooperation in the field of cybersecurity.
Day 1: Engaging with Leading Israeli Cybersecurity Companies
The visit commenced with an in-depth session at Check Point Software Technologies, a global leader in cybersecurity solutions. Delegates participated in insightful discussions on key cybersecurity challenges and technological advancements, including:
- Cyberattack prevention tools
- AI implementation in cyber threat detection
- Quantum computing threats and future solutions
- Trends in APT (Advanced Persistent Threat) groups
- The most common cyberattacks
- The most vulnerable sectors of critical infrastructure
A highlight of the visit was an exclusive meeting with Check Point’s CEO, Mr. Nadav Zafrir, providing valuable insights into the future of cybersecurity.
In the afternoon, the delegation visited Pelephone, a leading Israeli mobile operator and a subsidiary of Bezeq, to gain insights into Israel’s telecommunications security landscape. The day concluded with a visit to Flowsec, further deepening discussions on cyber resilience.
Exclusive Networking Reception at the Czech Embassy
On Monday evening, the Embassy of the Czech Republic in Tel Aviv hosted an exclusive networking reception in honor of the Czech CyberTech delegation. The event gathered 60 participants, including 16 Czech delegation members, alongside representatives from over 30 Israeli companies.
This event provided an exceptional platform for forging new partnerships and strengthening Czech-Israeli collaboration in cyber technology.
Day 2: Czech Presence at Cybertech Global 2025
On Tuesday, the Czech cyber delegation participated in Cybertech Global 2025 Tel Aviv, one of the world’s top cybersecurity events, engaging with industry leaders and emerging technologies. AI, quantum technologies, and cyber resilience took center stage, offering unparalleled networking opportunities and insights into the latest industry trends.
For the first time in history, the Czech Republic had official representation at the event! A special congratulations to HackedList.io, the Czech company proudly showcasing its innovative solutions at this prestigious conference.
Congratulations to Tomáš Pluhařík and his team—their participation has generated considerable interest, demonstrating that Czech cybersecurity expertise is making a significant impact on the global stage.
Day 3: Exploring Israel’s Cyber Hub – Beer Sheva
On Wednesday, the delegation traveled to Beer Sheva, often referred to as Israel’s Silicon Valley and a global powerhouse in cybersecurity and innovation. The visit included a tour of the Gav-Yam Negev Tech Park, one of the world’s leading cybersecurity hubs where industry, academia, and elite cyber units collaborate on next-generation digital security.
