The Czech Ambassador to Tehran, H.E. Josef Rychtar, handed over advanced medical equipment purchased in the Czech Republic within the framework of development cooperation to the Iranian partner organization Bachehaye Aseman Kamran. This equipment will now be used in the care of disabled persons.
H.E. Josef Rychtar, Ambassador of the Czech Republic in Tehran, handed over to the management of the NGO Bachehaye Aseman Kamran a Kalos Cough Assist device including additional equipment (suction devices, patient circuits, etc.).
The device was purchased through a small local project along with other equipment that will help the Iranian partners in caring for their disabled inmates of various ages. The Kalos Cough Assist device was recommended by a Czech doctor who personally visited the Bachehaye Aseman Kamran facilities as part of another development project implemented in 2023. Unfortunately, it is not possible to buy this very useful device in Iran, so its import had to be arranged directly by the embassy.
The Czech Republic has been cooperating with Bachehaye Aseman Kamran for three years. By sharing Czech know-how in the field of care for the disabled and equipping sanatoriums, it offers help in an area that remains generally underfunded and often overlooked.
