
Medical equipment was handed over to the Tbilisi State Medical University

Chargé d’Affaires of the Embassy of the Czech Republic in Georgia Jiří Preclík, first Deputy Minister of IDPS, Labour, Health and Social Affairs of Georgia, Dr. Zaza Bokhua, and representatives of Caritas Czech Republic in Georgia handed over medical equipment to the Tbilisi State Medical University.
The aim of the project is to develop long term and palliative care services for children with incurable and chronical diseases.
Caritas Czech Republic in Georgia handed over medical equipment to the Tbilisi State Medical University Zhvania Pediatric Academic hospital for the intensive care and neonatal units, with the cost of 400 000 GEL.
The activity is part of a the project “Establishment of children’s long term and palliative care services in Georgia” initiated by The Ministry of IDPS, Labour, Health and Social Affairs of Georgia with the financial support of the Czech Development Agency.
