Launch of new information centre in Tusheti Protected Areas

Ambassador of the Czech Republic in Georgia Mr. Tomáš Pernický, mayor of Akhmeta municipality Ioseb Karumashvili, acting chairman of the Agency of Protected Areas Valerian Mchedlidze, chairman of Tusheti Protected Landscape Administration Eristo Lagazidze and director of CENN Nana Janashia attend the opening ceremony of the information centre.

The information centre was funded by the Czech Development Agency, specifically the development project “Implementation of Selected Measures of the Management Plan for the Protected Area Tusheti”. The centre will serve as information point and also it will be a premise where the voluntary entry fee will be collected.
