
Conference on Cancer Prevention and Early Detection Measures opens in Zugdidi

On 9 September 2016, Ambassador of the Czech Republic Tomáš Pernický together with Deputy Minister of Labour, Health and Social Affairs of Georgia Valeri Kvaratskhelia, State Representative – Governor in Samegrelo-Upper Svaneti Region Levan Shonia and Mayor of Zugdidi Municipality City Hall Irakli Gogokhia opened a conference „Promoting Cancer Prevention and Early Detection Measures in Georgia“.
The conference, which took place in Zugdidi and was organized within the Czech Development Aid, was also addressed by Evžen Diviš of Caritas Czech Republic, Director of Georgian National Screening Center Professor Rema Ghvamichava as well as Czech experts Lubomír Skopal, MD, and Maria Skopalova, MD.
