Submission terms for local transition projects for 2024 are as follows:

• Applicant is a local subject with legal subjectivity in the country of the project implementation, eligible to sign contract with MFA/Embassy. A contribution cannot be claimed by an individual, political party or state institution;
• Applicant may submit only one proposal;
• Overall project budget is within 100 000 – 500 000 CZK (approximate exchange rate 1 GEL: 8,5 CZK);
• Beneficiary´s co-financing in the project is desirable;
• Project should be effective and economical, for which reason all receipts must be documented;
• Implementation of the project activities March 2024 – mid October 2024.

Relevant areas for project proposals are:

• Support for civil society, including human rights defenders,
• Freedom of expression, including the media, free access to information,
• Broader and equal citizen participation in public and political life,
• Development of rule of law institutions,
• Equality and non-discrimination,
• Support for respect for human rights in business through good working conditions.

The applications must be delivered in paper and electronic version and shall include:

• Identification form filled in English language, typed on a computer, stamped and signed by the authorized person (Identification form attached);
• Copy of the certificate of legal registration of the applicant (legal person).

In order to be considered as eligible, all above mentioned documents should be delivered both in hard copy (in a sealed envelope to the Czech Embassy, Chavchavadze Avenue 37-block VI, 0179 Tbilisi) and electronically to the Teona_Robakidze@mzv.cz by 15:00, October 20, 2023. Please, indicate “Local Transitional Project 2024” on the envelope and in a subject line of the email. Failure to submit the proposal or later delivery of documents will result in automatic rejection of the application.
