The Embassy of the Czech Republic in Tbilisi is currently looking for an Economic Expert

Our requirements:

  • - Citizen of Georgia with a clean criminal record;
  • - Strong background in economics, a University graduate with Bachelor, or Master Degree (preferably in economics);
  • - Great understanding of macroeconomics, good knowledge of the economy of Georgia, both on the sectoral and microeconomic levels, familiarity with the legal environment in Georgia (tax code, relevant laws);
  • - Excellent command of English (both written and oral); knowledge of Czech language would be an asset;
  • - Strong analytical skills, ability to conduct independent research and prepare background materials on trade and economic matters;
  • - Attention to detail, reliability;
  • - Ability to work independently;
  • - Good communication skills (personal interaction, e-mail, telephone);
  • - Proficiency in IT (Microsoft Office, Internet);
  • - Driving license;
  • - At least 2 years of relevant work experience; experience from an international environment would be a major plus.

Start of the work: January 2025 (subject to the approval by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Czech Republic).
