Documentary on Czech opera singer Josef Navrátil – Ratili at the Embassy of the Czech Republic

On 30 November 2016, first screening of documentary “Choirmaster” on Czech opera singer and leader of the first Georgian folk choir Josef Navrátil, known in Georgia as Ratili (1840-1912) took place at the Embassy of the Czech Republic in Tbilisi.
 

The film has been made with financial support of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Czech Republic by the Georgian-Czech Association Láska-Praha (Love-Prague), headed by its president Ioseb Bezhashvili. After the film show, the legendary Georgian ensemble Erisioni sang some songs from Ratili´s repertoire.
