Day of Europe celebrated in Tbilisi

On Sunday 10 May 2015, celebrations of the Day of Europe took place in Aleksandrovi Park close to Shota Rustaveli Boulevard in the very heart of Tbilisi. The European Union member states that have their Embassies in Georgia presented their culture, traditions and customs to Georgian visitors.
The Embassy of the Czech Republic displayed the pictures of traditional Czech products and inventions at the exhibition CZECH GEMS which presents also Czech monuments and beauty of Czech nature. Home-made apple strudel, Becher liqueur and plum brandy were offered to the visitors of the Czech stand. Among the guests were State Minister of Georgia on European and Euro-Atlantic Integration Davit Bakradze and Mayor of Tbilisi David Narmania.
