
Czech and Lithuanian Ambassadors visited former ammunition depo at village Skra

On 9th December, Czech Ambassador Tomáš Pernický, Lithuanian Ambassador Giedrius Puodžiūnas, Czech Military Attaché Štefan Grivalský, and Political Officer from NATO Liaison Office Jiří Preclík visited a former ammunition depot at village Skra. The storehouse that exploded in 2008 is being cleared in the framework of NATO funded project “Georgia IV”. The Czech Republic and Lithuania are its leading nations. The delegations observed the progress on the place and learned about next steps, which aim is to hand over the site to the local population.
