At the opening of the concert, the national anthems of the Czech Republic and Georgia were sung by the Children´s Choir of the Evgeni Mikeladze Music School in Tbilisi, conducted by Badri Jimsheleishvili. In the completely filled church, Czech mezzosoprano Edita Adlerová, Czech trumpeter Jan Verner and Czech organist Martin Maxmilian Kaiser then performed compositions by Johann Sebastian Bach, Johann Pachelbel, Henry Purcell, Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, Jan Křtitel Kuchař, Franz Schubert, César Franck, Bedřich Antonín Wiedermann, Zakaria Paliashvili, Josef Navrátil (known in Georgia as Ratili) and Georges Bizet. 

The concert met with extraordinary success; Czech artists Edita Adlerová, Jan Verner and Martin Maxmilian Kaiser received a standing ovation.
