Children of Gori and Oni receive International Fine Arts Competition LIDICE 2015 awards

On 19 October 2015, Ambassador of the Czech Republic Tomáš Pernický presented an honourable mention of the 43rd International Children´s Exhibition of Fine Arts LIDICE 2015 to Nana Akhalbedashvili, 12, in a newly renovated interior of Ana Feradze Art School in Gori. At a ceremony held in the presence of the Gori Mayor, Zurab Jirkvelishvili, and Czech Consul Sabina Cingrošová, the awarded girl received from the hands of the Ambassador in addition to the honourable mention also small gifts useful for painting and drawing, a book and flowers.
On 20 October 2015, Ambassador of the Czech Republic Tomáš Pernický together with Consul Sabina Cingrošová presented an honourable mention of the 43rd International Children´s Exhibition of Fine Arts LIDICE 2015 as well as small gifts and a book also to Zaur Gamkrelidze, 16, in the municipality of Oni in the Racha-Lechkhumi and Kvemo Svaneti region. Besides the awarded pupil´s parents, siblings, grandparents, his teachers and classmates, the ceremony was attended also by the highest representatives of the local administration – the Mayor of Oni Giorgi Lobjanidze and Chairwoman of the Oni Municipal Council Shukhura Japaridze. A total of almost 100 persons took part in the ceremony that took place in the Oni primary school.
