Ambassador of the Czech Republic congratulates World War II veteran Irakli Kandareli on 93rd birthday

On 29 November 2016, Ambassador of the Czech Republic Tomáš Pernický visited World War II veteran Irakli Kandareli in the town of Gori and congratulated him on his recent 93rd  birthday. In the spring of 1945, Mr. Kandareli took part in the liberation of several Czechoslovak cities, mainly in Northern Moravia, and is now the Honorary Citizen of the cities of Ostrava, Olomouc, Opava and others.
