In the week of 26th November 2018, the Embassy of the Czech Republic in Georgia together with the Ministry of Agriculture of the Czech Republic organized a week of Czech Beer Culture. The event took place in Batumi and Tbilisi, in both cities for two days. The aim was to introduce Czech Beer and food to Georgian public and by doing so, to encourage them buying Czech Beer, food and potentially visiting the Czech Republic. Each evening was launched by the speech of Chargé d´Afffaires Jiří Preclík, followed by the brief introductory speech of Mr. Aleš Dvořák - main brewer of brewery Budweiser Budvar. He also, among other things, tapped Budweiser Budvar and Pilsner Urquel for the evening´s participants. The scheme two for the price of one was applied. The 40% discount applied on Czech food.
