Young Georgian Artists Awarded Honorable Mentions in the International Children's Exhibition of Fine Arts Lidice 2020

Children from Georgian schools regularly take part in the International Children's Exhibition of Fine Arts Lidice. In this year's 48th Edition, there were four paintings awarded Honourable Mentions out of 142 entries.

Folloving students received Honourable Mentions: Ioane Ruxade from Chokhatauri Art School (teacher Ms. Mzia Kvintradze), Ekaterina Biniashvili from 54 Public School in Tbilisi (teacher Ms. Lela Geleishvili), and Abramishvili from Soso Tsereteli Art. School in Sachkhera (teacher Ms. Natela Tabatadze) and Ciry Mariami Arbolishvili from Otar Taktakishvili Art School N19 in Tbilisi (teacher Ms. Khatuna Pachulia). Due to restrictive measures in connection with the current epidemiological situation, the Embassy of the Czech Republic in Tbilisi could not hold the traditional handover ceremony. The Embassy therefore purchased the children's art supplies and sent them to the awarded children together with a letter from Ambassador Petr Mikyska and Honourable Mentions. At the same time, the children received an invitation to participate in the 49th Edition of the International Children's Exhibition of Fine Arts Lidice 2020 with the theme "ROBOT and artificial intelligence".

Detailed information, photos, catalogs and films of previous years of the competition are available on the website. There is also an application with a form to participate in the 49th year of the Lidice 2021 competition.
