Parliamentary Committee Visited Estonia

From 9th to 12th October 2016 the representatives of the Committee for Public Administration and Regional Development of the Chamber of Deputies of the Parliament of the Czech Republic paid a visit to Estonia. The delegation was led by its Deputy Chairman P. Bendl.

The members of the delegation were F. Adámek, J. Zahradníček a S. Berkovec. Main topics of the talks included discussions about the experience in the field of public administration, regional development, preparation of projects and the subsequent use of money from EU funds, tourism and e-governance.
The delegation met with the Chairman of the Economic Affairs Committee of the Estonian Parliament T. Kivimägi, Governor of Lääne county N. Suur, Deputy Mayors of Haapsalu L. Põld and P. Vikman and Enterprise Estonia Member of the Management Board S. Talvet-Unt. They also visited the e-Estonia Showroom for information and communication technologies, in which the Estonian government is a true example of a mutual cooperation and interconnectivity of its electronic systems and databases.
