The Summer School of Slavonic Studies 2026

For the year 2026, the Summer School of Slavonic Studies is offering scholarships for those interested in attending summer courses focused on Slavonic languages and cultures. There are two places on offer for Estonia at the Faculty of Arts of the Masaryk University in Brno.

 

Information and application:

Detailed information about the Summer Schools of Slavonic Studies is available on the website of the Ministry of Education HERE.

Applicants can apply for a scholarship using the form on the Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports website, available HERE.

The completed application form should be sent together with their CV to the Embassy or another institution conducting the selection procedure.

 

Nomination and selection of scholarship recipients and substitutes:

The selection of scholarship recipients is entirely within the terms of reference of the Embassy or the partner institution concerned. The Ministry of Education, Youth and Sport (MEYS) then respects the nominations .

Candidates should be at least 18 years old and nominated to the school listed for their country.

Candidates who are not selected may be nominated as substitutes.

For 2026, two scholarship places are on offer at the Faculty of Arts of the Masaryk University in Brno.

 

Important dates:

15 March 2026: Opening of the online registration system.

31 March 2026: Deadline for submitting the nominations to the MEYS

May-July 2026: Schools contact scholarship recipients and substitutes.

 

Further instructions:

If a participant cannot attend the course, the Ministry of Education, Youth and Sport  and the relevant school must be informed so that a substitute can be contacted.
