On 13th February 2018 a concert of young Czech violinist Markéta Janoušková took place in the Swedish St. Michael’s Church. It was within the 11th Tallinn Winter Festival, which is organized annually by the Pille Lill Music Foundation (PLMF).
Markéta Janoušková was accompanied by young Estonian musicians – pianist Johan Randvere or accordionist Henri Zibo, whose names are already well known on the Estonian music scene. The concert in the church that was attended by about one hundred listeners was very successful and received a great deal of appreciation from the audience. Also PLMF appreciated M. Janoušková's high-quality performance in Tallinn, and expressed interest in their further and wider cooperation. The Embassy of the Czech Republic in Estonia has been actively cooperating with PLMF for the second year. Since it is a renowned musical institution which selects the invited guests from abroad very carefully, our Embassy is very pleased about the result of this cooperation.
