The event was opened with the speech of the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Estonia, Mr Sven Mikser. The Czech stand was much bigger than last year, had a larger selection of Czech products, and therefore, higher interest of the visitors. Apart from the traditional Czech specialities, our Embassy staff prepared a variety of the Czech home-made sweets (esp. traditional Christmas cookies and sweet buns), which represented the traditions of the country even more, than the goods from a grocery store. We are happy to announce, that due to our dutiful preparation and efforts, we collected much bigger amount of money for the charity than last year.
