The XXVII World Road Congress aims to offer a holistic view of the road sector current situation and future trends. The Congress will address a large spectrum of issues related to road infrastructure and road transport across the globe. During the Congress the Ministers will meet to share their insights and discuss the challenges posed by the modernisation of their national road infrastructure.The Congress programme features the presentation of the results of the work undertaken by PIARC’s twenty four committees and task forces, as well as several specialized sessions and workshops dealing with topics of current and future interest.

As part of the Cogrees, a large exhibition will be opened at the venue. The exhibition is a long-standing tradition in the World Road Congress and it particularly includes the national pavilions where public sector and private companies can present their developments in the road sector. More than 300 exhibitors are expected to atted the exhibition.

The WRC attracts an array of global experts and professionals. The information-packed programme will attract more than 5,000 transportation professionals from around the world, providing a platform for the transport sector to share knowledge, network and to do business.

he World Road Association (PIARC) was established in 1909 and its main mission is to promote international cooperation and to foster progress in the field of roads and road transport.  The World Road Congress returns to Prague after 52 years, when it was held here for the first time. The Congress is held within the World Road Association (PIARC) every four years. PIARC is based in Paris and currently has nearly 3,000 members from 142 countries. The Congress represents the largest international transport event of 2023.
