The Czech Economic and Cultural Office in Taipei was pleased to support the ongoing Czech Semicon Days 2026, organized by CzechInvest, one of the flagship events promoting international cooperation and investment opportunities within the semiconductor sector.

As part of our efforts to strengthen Taiwan-Czech collaboration in this strategically important industry, we worked closely with CzechInvest to facilitate the participation of distinguished representatives from National Yang Ming Chiao Tung University (NYCU), one of Taiwan’s leading institutions in semiconductor research and engineering education. Among the invited speakers were Prof. Yuan-Cheng Sun and Dr. Ching-Yao Huang, who contributed valuable expertise to discussions connecting academia, industry, and policy stakeholders.

A highlight of the program was Dr. Huang’s seminar on Talent Development and Technology Transfer, which showcased NYCU’s extensive experience in semiconductor talent cultivation, academia-industry cooperation, and co-creation strategies. The presentation provided participants with practical insights into building effective innovation ecosystems and preparing the next generation of semiconductor professionals.

The exchanges taking place during Czech Semicon Days 2026 underscore the growing importance of international partnerships in strengthening resilient semiconductor supply chains and ecosystems. Talent development, research cooperation, and innovation-driven collaboration remain essential pillars of the expanding semiconductor relationship between Taiwan and Czechia.
