The Consulate General of the Czech Republic in Sydney announces Consular Days in Brisbane from 7 – 9 October, during passport applications will be accepted.
18.08.2026 / 07:50 | Aktualizováno: 18.08.2026 / 07:56
During the Consular Days it will be possible to lodge passport applications using the mobile passport station.
The exact address where the Consular Days will be taking place will be specified at a later date.
To express your interest, please complete this form, providing basic personal information, details of your current passport, and, where applicable, information about other documents proving Czech citizenship that may be required as part of the application process.
Applicants who are eligible to apply for a passport will be offered a specific appointment time. Applicants who are unable to lodge a passport application at that stage (for example, because they do not possess the necessary documents proving Czech citizenship) will be contacted by the Consulate General to discuss the available options for obtaining the required documents and submitting a passport application at a later date.
In addition, during the Consular Days, already-issued passports can be handed over to applicants who already applied for their passport at the Consulate General of the Czech Republic in Sydney. Please note it is currently not possible to accept applications for “občanské průkazy” using the mobile passport station.
For organisational reasons, the Consular Days will be dedicated first and foremost to passport applications, which can only be processed in person.
We ask all applicants interested consular services other than applying for a passport (e.g. verification of signature and copies of documents, applying for a Czech Criminal Record, registry documents, a Czech Citizenship Certificate or to be included on the Special Voter’s List at the Consulate General in Sydney) to contact our office on sydney@mzv.gov.cz for more information.
We would appreciate your assistance in sharing this information as widely as possible.
