The Czech and Slovak School of Sydney celebrated 15 years since it was founded

On 15 November 2025, the Consuls-General of the Czech Republic and the Slovak Republic along with their Deputies, attended the event marking this milestone. Both the Czech and Slovak Republics make significant financial contributions to the operation of the school.

Kateřina Larbalestier, long-standing Principal of the Czech and Slovak School of Sydney, Mrs Zuzana Slováková, the Consul-General of the Czech Republic in Sydney and Mr Martin Kabáč, the Consul-General of the Slovak Republic in Sydney, gave speeches at the event.

We wish the Czech and Slovak School of Sydney – which since its founding has become one of the largest Czech schools in Australia – all the best for the years ahead, and wish them many happy students.
