
The Consulate General of the Czech Republic in Sydney took part in the launch of the multicultural festival “The Lanterns Pavilion 2023”

On Saturday, September 16, the Deputy Consul-General of the Czech Republic Hana Landová took part in the Activation Ceremony of the multicultural festival „The Lanterns Pavilion 2023“, which aims to support multiculturalism and dialogue amongst a plethora of various cultures that are represented in Sydney.
The festival is being organised by “The Haymarket Institute“ in collaboration with the City of Sydney council. As part of the festival, an array of 100 unique lanterns that have been designed by artists from diverse cultural backgrounds will be displayed. The installation highlights the diversity of the local community.
The festival, which is taking place from September 16 to October 1, 2023, will be accompanied by cultural displays and performances. Festival-goers will also have the opportunity to taste a wide range of different cuisines from a variety of countries.
